Book Review: This is a must read for anyone on a journey to discover their “inner self,” and a repeated read for anyone who aspires to make their life count for others and self. It is straight forward and magnificently written. There’s probably no other source that so succinctly defines the keys to success. The wisdom within is life-changing and just as valid today as it was when it was first released as an audio recording in 1956. The first recording of its kind to go GOLD!

The Strangest Secret is one of the original self help publications. The original was published more than 40 years ago (1956 to be exact). The message was written in essay format and later recorded on an LP. The message was played for an audience full of salespeople at the author, Earl Nightingale’s, insurance agency.

Nightingale’s audience was forever transformed by what they heard. Word of this message spread like good gossip through the telephone wire. Everyone who heard it was ignited to change their life. It did not take long for over 200,000 people to write, call, or just walk in to his office requesting a copy.

The message included:

• Why you are where you think you ought to be
• Six words that can change your life
• Why hunches pay off
• How to know what you do best
• Why work and well-being are one and the same

Today, the sales are over 1,000,000 and still going strong. Formats include paperback, hardback and Audio Book. The Strangest Secret is considered a classic and it still remains one of the most influential messages and continues to changes lives of those who give it a listen (or in this case, read).

Sit down and look at your life. What needs improvement? Of that list, is their one thing that you are willing to change, starting right now? If there is, than you need this book. There is a reason why it’s still being printed, even after 40 years, because it works.

So what is so special about The Strangest Secret?

For starters it was written by one of only 12 Marines to service the Japanese attack on his ship, the USS Arizona on December 7, 1941. I don’t know about you, but I would make it a point to listen to what this man has to say. He is certainly going to say something that someone else has not mentioned, especially in the time period the words were recorded and written.

The message is short and simple. The more one listens, the better their life can be. We can become what we think about.

After reading these two books one might wonder, "Where would I have ever learned this if I hadn't read it here?" This is not just about being the greatest salesman in the world, it's about pursuing your passion and being a success.
Book Review: In a nutshell, this is the manual for both personal and professional effectiveness. Covey leads you through a "paradigm shift" affecting how you perceive time management, productivity, your "proactive muscles," positive thinking and so much more. There's so much content that a second reading or continued study may be in order. It's not your quick-tips-let's-get-started-ASAP type of book. Don't let that stop you, though. It's not just a book, it's a seminar.
3.

Book Review: In a nutshell, this is the manual for both personal and professional effectiveness. Covey leads you through a “paradigm shift” affecting how you perceive time management, productivity, your “proactive muscles,” positive thinking and so much more. There’s so much content that a second reading or continued study may be in order. It’s not your quick-tips-let’s-get-started-ASAP type of book. Don’t let that stop you, though. It’s not just a book, it’s a seminar.

Book Review: The author has become somewhat of a "punch line" in certain "uninformed" social circles and a target of unfair ridicule by even less informed cynics. Sadly, society is replete with people who are so quick to condemn what they don't understand... or in this case, what they haven't read. It literally took a flip of a coin to declare whether this would be #1 or #2 on the greatest self-help books of all time list. Unfortunately, Tony was tales. Nonetheless, it's AWESOME! Tony ROCKS!
2.
